You can look forward to a 32-meter-high Ferris wheel and a classic carousel, along with Santa’s Grotto, where local charities help spread the holiday cheer. If you’re into festive drinks, the iconic Beer Tent is the spot to grab a stein of beer or even a warm Irish Coffee.

The market’s got you covered when it comes to food, with bratwursts, French pastries, pretzels, crêpes, waffles, and loads more to choose from. Plus, you can browse through a variety of stalls packed with handcrafted gifts, perfect for your Christmas shopping.

Elf Town

Elf Town brings a magical winter wonderland to Ballybrit Racecourse this Christmas, offering a festive adventure for the whole family.

Meet Santa and join Elfin McGrinchy as he rediscovers his Christmas spirit, enjoy storytelling in the cosy Christmas Den, and dance with the elves on a dazzling illuminated dance floor. Other highlights include Icicle’s Frozen Sweet Shop, made of real ice and treats, as well as games, a Christmas carousel, and entertainment area.

Grown-ups can warm up with mulled wine and mince pies, while kids enjoy candyfloss, popcorn, hot chocolate, and juice. Fully wheelchair accessible, Elf Town truly has something for everyone.

Galway on Ice returns to 25 Dock Rd, Galway, offering the ultimate winter adventure for both seasoned skaters and beginners. With six skating sessions available every Monday to Friday and 11 slots on weekends, there's plenty of opportunity to get on the ice this festive season. Galway City on Ice welcomes skaters aged 4 and up, making it perfect for both seasoned skaters and beginners to experience the joy of ice skating in a lively, holiday setting.

Wildlands Winter Wonderland

This Christmas, treat your little ones to an unforgettable adventure at the Wildlands Winter Wonderland! Kids are invited to explore Baile Beag, a charming mini town adorned with festive decorations. Follow the elves and Mrs. Claus through various shops, send their letters to the North Pole, and even help care for a sick reindeer at the Reindeer Hospital, all before the all-important visit with Santa, who will invite them to choose a special gift from the local toy store.
