Ballinasloe International October Fair and Festival 2013

The most popular days of the nine day Festival are the Saturday, Sunday and Monday as the equestrian events take part on these days. On the Sunday and Monday, the Fairgreen is the place to be, with every breed of horse and pony on display from the beautiful Connemara Pony to trotting ponies and wonderful draughts. There are many events and activities that will take part over the course of the festival such as strret stalls, fireworks, tug of war, street & vintage parade, arts & crafts, music and childrens events. Theres a sense of community about the show, but with 85,000 visitors a year the word has spread.
