Galway Abooo Halloween Festival (25th, 26th & 31st October 2014)
The Galway Aboo Halloween Festival takes place in the medieval streets of Galway’s Latin Quarter on Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th and Friday 31st of October 2013. It is the country’s largest Halloween Festival and plays host to a number of activities and free events so promises to be a superb weekend for all ages.
A Hallowe'en parade by Macnas, will take place on Sunday 26th October at approximately 4.45pm. As you would expect with the internationally renowned street theatre group, Macnas will be putting on a street-hopping, traffic-stopping party with a host of new giants, performances, bespoke costumes and live original music all drenched in their award-winning design.

Fancy dress Party Trail from 8:00pm. The venues in the Latin Quarter will host a series of Fancy Dress parties with prizes galore for the most ghoulishly dressed.

Mini Monster Dash

500 meters fun run around the streets for up to 12 year olds. Fancy dress encouraged, prizes for scariest and usual categories!
Monster Dash in aid of ‘On the Road again’
Sat 1st November / 6:30pm / Streets of Galway. 5k = 2 laps around the streets of Galway, fancy dress encouraged.
