We’re counting down the days to Seafest 2017 here at the Harbour and the Docks in Galway. The Harbour area and all around us is set to be transformed into an ‘open air sea world’ for the free three day festival.

Pop by ‘Dillisk on the Docks’ for our special Seafest Menu, served daily from 12 to 9pm. With face-painting and a Family Fun Space so you can sit back and enjoy a bit to eat in Galways newest restaurant.

Our new and inviting bar and restaurant with dedicated outdoor garden, social seating & sharing tables. Great food - great company and lively atmosphere - 'Dillisk on the Docks' is Galway’s newest social hub! Galway Bay FM broadcasting live from here on Saturday and with live music on Saturday evening, make sure to pop by!

AAAAARRRRRR YOU READY FOR SEAFEST???

Take a stroll through The Festival Village located next to us here at the Harbour Hotel. There’s a huge variety of stalls in The Festival Village this year along with street performers and street theatre. Deep–sea divers, angel fish and pirate puppets will also be roving around Galway Harbour and Docks, adding to the exciting carnival atmosphere.

The Kids Zone, located on the middle pier, runs from 10am to 6pm daily with plenty to entertain with Art Workshops, Kite Workshops, Face Painting and Storytelling.

Spectacular shows from world champion Fly boarders will take place three times on each day, at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. These will be visible from anywhere in the docks and will be projected onto big screens.

Other highlights include Tours of The majestic tall ship The Phoenix, Celtic Explorer and Celtic Voyager. Traditional boatbuilding demonstrations with Badóirí an Chladaigh & Carraroe Mens Shed. Defence Forces Display, RNLI and Coast Guard, Air, Sea and Rescue Demonstrations all take place over the weekend.

With plenty for the whole family to enjoy with on water entertainment and activities to include sailing and kayaking.
