Meet our Head Chef Dave O'Dea
Dave has always had a passion for food and travelled extensively in his formative culinary years, seeking out the best chefs to work with. Dave has honed his skills in some of the finest gastronomic establishments, including the 3 Michelin star Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London, and the 2 Michelin star Basilico in Berlin, where he helped to create culinary perfection on a nightly basis.
Since his arrival at Krusoes restaurant at Harbour Hotel Dave has passed on some of his extensive culinary knowledge to his hand-picked team, and constantly strives to offer patrons a truly unique dining experience. Dave has brought his flair and imagination to all of our menus, from our restaurant and bar through to our light bites, tapas and delicious home-made pizzas. Expect perfectly executed dishes, with local ingredients given a slightly Spanish interpretation as well as a selection of traditional favorites.
Our specials menu is served throughout the day in our modern, comfortable bar and restaurant, a full dinner menu is available in the evening as well as a selection of tasty bar food, tapas and snacks. At weekends we offer our residents a late-night snack menu, served between midnight and 3am, perfect after a night out on the town!
Krusoes restaurant at Harbour Hotel in the heart of Galway city is a great place to celebrate a special occasion we are happy to help plan the perfect event be it a birthday, christening or a family get-together. Dave is happy to assist in planning the perfect menu whether it is a selection of our funky tapas or a full sit down meal.
