Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park
The breathtaking landscapes, rugged hills and captivating colours of Connemara are an experience never to be forgotten, it is a landscape of lakes and mountains, dominated by the purples and browns of the surrounding bog-land. A one-hour drive will take you from the hotel, through Connemara as far as Kylemore Abbey. Here you can take in the walled gardens and displays featuring the cultural heritage of the region. Our team can arrange entrance into this iconic visitor attraction at preferential rates; it is also an ideal place to stop for lunch. Just 4km from Kylemore Abbey is Connemara National Park, where the Loop Walk (1.5km) is a perfect way experience the topography of the Bog-land at first hand before heading back to the Galway City Centre and Harbour Hotel.
